How and when will my backorder be filled?

We're currently in the process of overhauling our backorder tracking system. Right now, all backorders are tracked the old fashioned way - by pen and paper. In the 2nd half of 2005, we'll be moving to an automated system where our customers can log in and modify, change, or cancel their pending backorders.

In the meantime, backorders are filled when the products are finally shipped to our destination. Unfortunately, most of the time, our suppliers have little or no information on when an item will be available again. When this information is available, we do our best to pass it on to our customers.
